The series of books will reveal the exact inner workings of Wallace’s vast array of vehicles, inventions and contraptions, with the first format to be released this autumn.
This is the latest deal Aardman has struck for Wallace & Gromit, who were recently chosen to front a new 6 x 29’ invention-inspired series for BBC One, Wallace & Gromit present A World of Invention.
Sean Clarke, Head of Aardman Rights, said: “We’re really excited about this new, novel opportunity to work with Haynes to produce a fun, practical guide to Wallace & Gromit’s world, and to be one of very few properties that have featured in their own, fictional Haynes manual.”
